AN INTRO: NOT YOUR KIND OF ARTIST JAMAICA

NOT YOUR KIND OF ARTIST: Parts 1–4 is an ongoing project that I started working on in 2017. A number of the projects/exhibitions I have done are related to new media art experimentations and art installations and how cognitive psychology plays a role in my self-expression. I try to make my creative process more accessible by taking advantage of the endless possibilities of new media technologies. Some of my major influences have been mathematics, music/sound, science and technology etc. Most of my digital images begin with abstract illustrations generated from scratch or a photo/video to convey mysterious unfamiliar beauty. I experiment with depth and texture, dramatic colours and my ideas, utilising the relationship between art and technology to connect the results through experimental narratives.
